This is the best kind of snow, actually.
Get everyone's attention by being really pretty - then get the hell out before you start too many problems.

In anticipation of a warmer spring - my Knockout Roses started budding the past week and a half. This will teach those roses. Nothing grows easily in my yard!

Just a couple of inches.. but still makes a nice photo. The round tree in the upper left of the frame has already budded out with white flowers. Now they are covered in white snow...

Well now... this is a rare sight. A little bit of snowfall in Alabama. In the hour since I have taken this photo, about 30% of the snow is gone... the ground is too warm anyway...
Really wet snow too. Good snowman/snowball material....

The Penguins took a 3-0 lead by the beginning of the 2nd period - but Nashville won 5-3.
