Getting things started with air filter replacement


Keep parts and small bits organized or cry yourself to sleep later

Getting the middle fairing apart...

The air filter is hidden in the silver slot under a bunch of plastic and metal
A few more elements to move..

And from the empty slot comes a very dirty filter

New filter slides into place

Put it all back together...

The bike will be happy in all of that new clean air...

Wintry wonderland of my neighborhood... since it's up on a hill and the way down is covered in ice, I was unable to get to work for the first time since I started working in TV in early 1990

These folks ran out of gas and got help from one of the few vehicles able to still get around..

Highway 31 jammed heading south. Lots of stories about people in their cars for many hours... sometimes running out of gas.

Cars abandoned at the bottom of my hill... There's ice under the snow. The road was warm enough for the first bit of snow to melt... then freeze
